Merry Christmas

“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich. (IICor.8: 9).
The temperature of North America is getting down, yet not only the North America but entire world is getting hot because of forth coming season. A season to lunch new brand for the company, a season to sell more products for the corporate, a season to introduce new arrivals for the stores. A season has already started, where one can sell more liquors then ever before. The season has started when more cans and bottles will be empty then ever before in this year. Yet, how many of us have seriously thought about it? How many of us know really what does this season means?
The Holy Bible describes about the birth of Jesus, “1 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2 (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 And everyone went to his own town to register. 4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.” (Luke 2:1-7)

What is Christmas?
Christmas is just the celebration of the birth day of Jesus Christ who was born in Israel almost 2000 years ago. In Bible we don’t fine any prove that Jesus was born in 25th December. It is controversial date about the birth of Jesus, yet it is a plain fact that Jesus came into this world in the form of human and suffered all the trials and pains like you and me in human flesh.

It’s importance:
Christmas is importance in the History of Humanity. This is the day God became flesh and lived among us as you and me. This is the day, the creator of Heaven and earth took the form of human and born as man.
Apostle Paul writes about the importance of Jesus’ incarnation in his second epistle to the Believers of Corenth that for making us rich Jesus became the poor of poorest so that we may be rich. This riches is not only in spiritual life but also in our physical life. The Bible clearly declares that “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.”(IICor.8: 9). Jesus became poor in order to make us rich.
Many times the traditional Church teaches us that these riches are only in spiritual way. But if we see the word of God carefully, there is not even single evidence that proves that the suffering of Jesus in order to bless us was spiritual. Jesus suffered poverty in physical way not only in spiritual way. He was the creator of Heaven and Earth. Though he was the Creator of Heaven and the Earth, he took the form of poor of poorest, not in the spirit but in his physical body. He took it so that we may be rich in the flesh. Jesus took our entire curse so that we may be rich in the physical life. Jesus suffered so that we may have life abundant and full of glory.
In order to save us, Jesus suffered himself, so that there will not be future suffering to any one who believes in Jesus the Son of Living God. Because all our sin and sickness and problems and sufferings, Jesus has already took on behalf of us.

The Message of Real Christmas:
The real Christmas means a life that is completely changed under the diving destination of God. Let us see from the action of the wish man of East who came to celebrate Jesus’ birth as Bible Describes: “10When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. 11On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh. 12And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.” (Matt. 2:10-12).
The real Christmas means the changed life, a changed way of life , a complete new walk of life. It is for sure that we are living in the world that is pretty much materialistic. Yet, we have our own option either to return to the palace of Herod or to take a bold step of complete new life in Christ Jesus our Lord. May God bless us in our free will decision to follow Jesus as our Lord.
Wish you Blessed Christmas and Proporous new year 2009.

New Prospective for World Mission

Some years back, I was translating two missionary couple into Nepali in a Leadership Seminar in Nepal. Both of them were long time missionary to Asia, it was so exciting to see their commitment to the Cross-Cultural mission, but when I started to talk to them, I came to know one of them were missionary to South India, and another couple was missionary in the Philippines.
Not only these two couple, but almost all the ministries in Christian Nations who claims that they have ministries in Asia, are working either in India or in Philippines. The ministries I have seen working in India, are mainly focused to South India (Where gospel had brought on AD 32 by St. Thomas). On the another hand, The Philippines is the only Christian nation of Asia.
There is no doubt that Gospel is very much important in Asia. But the real need of gospel isin North India where there Thousands villages without single gospel witness. Millions souls are there who have not heard even single time about Jesus. The real need of Philippines and South India is not gospel, but revival. And this is the time that the native Churches there need to revive. They need to come out of Christian Religion to personal Relationship to Christ. The people there are very godly Christians which strong dedication on Roman Catholic and other Denominational Religion. And it is not the gospel, but the Revival brings them out from Christian Religion to Personal Relation with Christ.
There are the countries which are too equal need of Gospel. But generally people don't like to go to Bhutan because the Churches are underground there. Christians are on the prison only because of their faith, but many Christians in west are not aware of this. Thousands souls are dieing each day without Christ in Asia, but still majority our believers in western Christian nations are not serious for mission works. Or Western Christianity is introducing the gospel work only as the tool for developing denominational and personal empire rather then bringing people back to Christ and promoting the Kingdom of God.
Another serious mistake Western Ministries is making is the investment in unfruitful areas. Many times, we want to construct huge Church Buildings investing there Millions Dollars. But we don't understand seriously that The Real Church is not the fortified building that we have made, but the called out people of Living God. We want to construct the modern building, but forget to invest for the Kingdom of God. Even today, many Churches in developed nations are happy in what they have got, but they are not so much interested on mission works to the unreached.
Another bitter fact is, many times we are divided into the denominations. Rather then a Christian, many times we see our self as Protestant or may be as Evangelical or Charismatic. One serious question of many Christians around the world is whether they are Catholic or Protestant? They never knew about Martin Luther when they heard the gospel. Nor they heard about Pope or any Patriarch. They heard only and only about Christ when they believed, and they were converted as aChristian and as a Bible Believing Christian. Our Lord has promised us that He is coming soon. We know that we are living in End time. The fire of Revival has spread around the nations. We are living in the climax of Christian History and the work of God has multiplied then ever before. Now the Church of Living God need to be more mission minded Church. We need to train the native nationals. Send them out for reaching out the unreached. Open our hands and share our material blessings with the workers of vineyard who are laboring for the Kingdom of God. I know that many of us are not able to go our self in mission fields. But even if we all Christians take our part of sharing our financial blessings with the people who are on the mission, we can mobilize Millions more nationals for reaching this world before our Lord comes back. This is the time for teaching and mobilizing the nationals for reaching their nations. We the Christians need to make our contribution more for the work of God to train and send the nationals for unreached. We need to revive as mission minded Christian. We need to stretch our hands for supporting the work of God.
Many times we consider our contribution for mission as our donation. Why do we think that the God who is creator of Heaven and earth, the God who has put the gold and diamonds mines under the earth we are living needs our donation? He is the same God, who has put all the resources on the ground we are standing and everything we are using is the property that He has created. But support for the work of God is not our donation for God; it is our spiritual seeds to reap more blessings both on our earthly lives and on the Kingdom of God. This is exactly what Christ taught "lay not up for yourselves treasure upon the earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and seal: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through and steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also" (Matt 6:19-21).

God loves even Hindus.

As God has placed me right now to reach the Hindus of North America, I would like to remain you few things about God's own paths for the salvation of Hindus. It is because we are very much concerned to carry on our traditions, and we give more priority to other but very few of us think that God wants even Hindus to be saved. If we see the world population, Hindus has almost same population with the Muslims and almost three times more then the Buddhists and other small Religions. 18% of world populations are Hindus and Muslim 20% (when Roman Catholics, Traditional Orthodox Christians, Cultic Christians and Born Again are counted together). There are thousands ministries across the North America, who share their resources for the ministries among the Muslims but very rare of us things Hindus are too equal important for reaching with the gospel of salvation.

But, if we see in Bible, God had equal plan for the salvation of Jews and Idol worshipping people of east. When Jesus was born, he sent Angel to the shepherds to convey the good news. But as for the wish people of East (Muslim was not yet started and entire East of Jerusalem was Belongs to Aryans with German Heritage whom we currently know as Indo-Aryans or Hindus) He showed the star on the Sky so that these people with almost 6 thousands years of Civilization History can understand the plan of God for Humanity. There were wish man who visited New Born Jesus and went back to their nation through changed way and life.

Down through the Centuries, Church became more focused on securing the tithes and offering with all short of Traditional Practices and gradually lost the zeal to share the good news to these people who are waiting for salvation for last 6 thousands years.

It is right now the time for even Hindus to come into the Kingdom of God. As a born again Christian, at least if we unite together in prayer, we can change the Millions Lives of Hindus in North America and across the nation.

Are you available to pray even for the salvation of Hindus?

Praise the Lord, Oh my soul !

I still remember the day, it was severe winter of mid-December on the Mountains of Nepal, I was locked inside the room, but my heart was keenly waiting to escape and join the Baptism Service. A greatest day of my Christian faith and life. The day, I was openly going to declare my inward change into outward expression. The day I was going to declare publicly I am crucified, died and buried with Christ and as Christ rose again from the death, I have raised into new life in Christ Jesus my Lord.
Well.... the sweetest memories of my life, seems like they were just yesterday. But on free time, when I recall the past, I came to know the fact that I have spent almost two decades of my life after that. Some time surprising, some time unbelievable, but this is the fact that I have walked a far distance since the first step I decided to walk with Christ Jesus my Lord. In such a long journey, many things in my life changed. A High Caste Hindu man turned as a mature adult, a single young man changed as a happy husband and father of two daughters, an immature believer turned into the minister of the gospel. Time passed away, world kept on changing, but in last two decades I saw only one thing that is not changing. That is the Love of God, His grace toward the sinner, His compassion toward the Humanity.
Yes, there was a time when I just decided to take the single step of faith to follow Jesus, not even knowing what price I need to pay for following Christ. Because of my one decision, many relatives became strangers for me, own became enemies, but at the same time Millions of strangers became same families for me in the house hold of God. Some bad experiences, some good experiences, some experiences were bitter too, but down through the years, my God changed all the bitter experiences of my life into the better experiences.
Life is a journey. We keep on moving toward the destination. Everything changes, but only one thing remains same for you, God Loves You, He will never allow you to fall, He will hold you in his arms whatever circumstances you may undergo. Through out your entire journey, Jesus is with you to lead you and guide you.
